We were going to have a "small" SFG this year because its our first year to try it. HAH! Here's my list:

We're also using Kennebec and Yukon Gold potatoes, Ozark Beauty, Earliglow and Herritt Strawberries. Don't know if I bought heirloom varieties of those although I remember seeing the Kennebecs and Yukon Golds listed on the heirloom site. Bought those at the farm & ranch store. Ordered the strawberries from American Meadows. Don't know about those either, other than they are all June bearing and bare root stock.

The rest of the spring/summer crop are either unknown or are hybrids, particularly peppers and tomatoes. Our climate here in the valley isn't favorable for those two crops if the maturity length is more than about 70 days.

That's great, anyone saving seeds? I plan on saving the pumpkin seeds but that's all.

I don't have the space to grow my own plants from seeds.

we have a long season here so I can just start them outside. Wanted to save the pumpkins for next year.

I ordered from Baker's Seeds for several things (lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, beans, snap peas, +). But I also have some seeds from last year that may or may not be heirloom.

I've never done it, but may try a few. Some of the seed packets have so many seeds I have enough for next year (and more) but there might be a few where I'll be getting low and will try seed-saving.

I really have lost track, all the writing I did on the pots came off.....
And checking my box of seeds today I realized I am weeks behind on planting several things........

Tongues of fire beans are worth growing just for the name alone:D

Tried growing them last year in a 35lb cat little container and it became root bound to the EXTREME:affraid: by the end of the season.. Grew like crazy but only got a gallon sized bag from it.. Was able to pull the entire root and dirt ball out by the stem !!

WOW my Jade okra was like that but I got tons off it. Well maybe it just seemed like tons because I don't care fo okra all that much. LOL not even growing it this year.

We found some awesome heirloom red brussels sprouts "transplants" yesterday at one of the better garden centers we visit. I was so excited, I planted one in the middle of each of three lettuce blocks, and pulled three struggling brussels sprout seedlings out and replaced them with the red ones. So... if these all do well, we'll have both red and green brussels sprouts this fall and winter.
