Hello to all! A little bit of history of me and sfg. When I was growing up my mother got the original SFG book and tried to convince me and my siblings to start a garden. Needless to say the spot she choose at our house was where the old owners had dumps rocks and gravel. So the garden did not happen. Fast foreward a bit, I got married, had a baby, husband deployed, and I was living with my in laws (we are on great terms). Well they had decided to try the sfg method. It worked! the next year I was living with them again, my husband had to go back to the desert, and my son was 1. He loved going out to Nana's garden and helping to water it. Plus he would eat all the red tomatoes that he saw and grab before I could stop him. We fell in love with the concept. When we moved back to NE I was determined to build some boxes for us to have. Husband did not think that it would work so I was more determine to do it without his help even. So my son, Nicolai now 2, built ourself 1 4x4 and planted pumpkins tomoates. We also tried some lettuce but they turned out bitter. My hsuband loved the garden and wanted his own plants for the next year. This year would be our 4 year with our sfg but we will be moving sometime this year and living in military housing we need to get the grass growing again in our back yard where the garden was.Evil or Very Mad

That my story in a nut shell. This forum would of been a great help to two years ago but I am glad that I found it now. Everyones experiences are helping me to plan our next sfgs for our next house. New to this forum but not SFG 418730
