Salad Table - Eagle Scout Project Empty Salad Table - Eagle Scout Project

I've seen mentioned on the Forum about Table Tops using hardware cloth instead of a plywood bottom. Here are some videos and even a link for instructions of the Salad Table.

This is going to be a GREAT Eagle Scout project for a nearby Senior Center. The scout is going to install two of these (for use with wheel chairs) plus a 3' x 8' x 18" raised bed with a "bench" top for the seniors to sit at while working.

These salad tables are so similar to our table tops in design.

I use the hardware cloth bottoms, but I put weed cloth instead of window screening over the hardware cloth to prevent the MM from falling out. I like the way they used two different length 2X4s to make the legs support the frame.

This is a really nice project for the Eagle Scouts.
