Seeds are up, now what?

I planted seeds, first pack has I think 72 'cells'. Well, they were tall and skinny, so I transplanted to pots. They are various types of tomatoes, wv' 63, bush, pineapple, cherry, climbing etc, way too many!! I didn't think they would all come up cause some were old seed.

My question, should I give them some fertilizer of some sort? If they get tall/leggy before I can put them in the ground, should I re-pot again?

If there is anyone here nearby in the Lowcountry, and would want some tomato plants, give me a holler, I have strawberry plants too.

Are you keeping the seedlings under a flourescent light during the day? Lack of light can cause legginess.

Light and any bottom heat, if you are using it, should only be on for a maximum of 16 hours a day so the plants can cool and rest overnight.

I know BBG had a good write up last year about starting seeds indoors.

I also started way too many seedlings last year and gave ~~some~~ many plants to the community garden and neighbors.

The great thing about tomatoes is that the main stem will produce new roots. So they can be buried deeply when transplanted into a new pot. Just pinch off the leaves that you will place in the soil.
