OMG! Precious angels! Kyle looks so much like a boy...like he's saying "You really gonna make me wear this hat???"
Personally I think he's a lucky dude to have a beautiful hand knitted hat like that.

I would say a huge thanks except Aria is my first great granddaughter and I just have to correct you.Scorpio Rising wrote:Beautiful boys! Congrats!
She was born in CA on 9 Jan and Kyle was born in NC on 10 Jan so who knows when they'll ever actually meet. My grands and great grands are scattered from NC to CA to Manila and Palawan in the Philippines, Some of the steps I've never met but I claim them just the same.

Re: Happy Birthday!!
I got vampire gloves for my birthday!
They're really called Garden Genie Gloves. Katie ordered them online, then got all upset when they arrived, because the vampire claws are only on the right glove, but I'm left-handed. I told her the joke's on them, because the kind of digging and scratching I'd do with the glove I'd do with my "labor" hand anyway. I save my "management" hand for delicate stuff, like lifting the leaves up so the claw can do its work. These gloves are really kewl and strong. I can't wait to try them out.

Not late. I didn't advertise. I wouldn't have mentioned the bday if it weren't for these nifty gloves.trolleydriver wrote:CapeCoddess wrote:Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Country!

Re: Happy Birthday!!
Thank you sanderson and TD. I started celebrating at 4pm PST yesterday as that is when it is Midnight in the UK where I was born. I always have a 32 hour birthday since living in Canada.
So far this morning I have been answering emails etc from England. Breakfast shortly with my friend, then later on lunch with my lady friends, the group that have been celebrating each others' birthdays for the last few years. Sadly depleted by two who passed away since my last birthday.
Still not being able to get out in the garden to do anything as all is still frozen and snow-covered. Last year I was able to do an hour's weeding on the 19th February, and I remember feeling how good that was. I cannot even see if any garlic or tulips are still there. Flurries of snow still forecast, but right at this moment the sun has just broken over our nearby Mt. Sentinel and lightened up my life.
