Re: What gardening items did you get for Christmas
Hopefully I am not alone in saying:
It should be written, that there shall be no speak of such Personal Protective Equipment without pictures of said member proudly displaying PPE on their body
NK:
The last time we tried to take a picture of me the camera broke. Still does not work! It would be nice to see the log SFG in pictures as well as in the mind. The easiest would be to butt 4 logs together into a square and fill with MM. You could also put pegs into the ground to keep them from rolling away from each other or fasten them together with straps or nails or such. Sometimes I can get carried away with building our SFG's and spend a bunch of money (who me?). Remember Mel said the best material is FREE, just no pressure treated wood. Just about everything else is fair game. Now to find an unbreakable camera.
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

Just saying.
Kay
Really? Seems to me in March when I was looking into SFG and wanted to buy the book it wasn't available for Kindle. Excellent news that they've since made a kindle version!
Here's what I got:
A Hydrofarm CK64050 Germination Station with Heat Mat. I'm going to try starting seeds indoors this year - moving on from absolute novice SFG/gardener to a beginner this year.

Re: What gardening items did you get for Christmas
I got mostly teaching stuff and I was very surprised and elated to find a $25 gift card to Home Depot... I can't decide weather to spend it on wood for some potato boxes I want to build or to make a PVC Pipe grow light... It's a hard decision to decide which is coming out of my pocket and which is a present ;o)

Now I KNOW I need to get my eyes checked. I thought it said "This thread is worthless without PIGS!"
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

I got just what I asked Santa for...Super Duper Genetically Altered pack of seeds!!! I'll be growing something BIG this year!! Maybe a record breaker you never know.
I also got a streak 7 tablet, great for finding gardening info on, and other things
I got my mom two new bird feeders since I started my bird watching project she has become interested in watching them too.

I received canning jars and lids for next year's harvest.
These were gifted to me by recipients of home canned items from this year's harvest.

Wow, FM, you don't think that could have been a hint for more canned gifts to them, do you? Very subtle.
