Hello Bettg,
We are too !!!! Welcome to the forum. Please ask any questions and don't be afraid to jump into any of the topics. Do you have or have you read the "All new SFG" book by Mel. It is a great reference point here on the forum. Let's us know if we can help you out in any way.

We sure are glad you joined us. This is a great group of people who love to garden and have found Square Foot Gardening to be the best method they have tried.
Even though we are still waiting for Spring, don't forget to check out your last average frost date as that will help you determine when you need to start some of your seeds indoors.
Here are some links that can help you determine some of those dates LAST FROST AND OTHER RELATED AND HANDY LINKS.
Again, Welcome and please feel free to ask questions or post reports on your progress.

Re: Hello from Vancouver BC
Hi, Bettyg,
I live just 3 hours, depending on the border, south of you. Are you inland, or on the coast? Our weather is pretty similar.
Spring isn't that far away. I planted broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, parsley, onions, leeks, spinach, beets, and lettuce Sunday, under cloches.
I love that "Hope springs eternal" has spring in the middle.
