citrus in MM
Just for giggles I ordered 5 sprouted key lime seeds. Six came yesterday. For now I have the seeds in MM in small plastic glasses sitting outside in 70* weather. But that's the extent of my knowledge. I live in zone 8A which means I do get some freezing weather. I have a plastic greenhouse and plan to put a string of C9 Christmas lights in it when I get back home. I have hot humid summers. What advice and information can my fellow forum members offer.

Would love an answer to this question too!
I am about to set up some raised beds in Sydney and want to plant a lemon and a mandarine but was not sure if Mel's Mix was suitable for citrus trees.

Re: citrus in MM
weather is a bit cooler at my house, so when I came home I put the seeds under the grow lights in the house. Five are about 2" high and the sixth has finally broken through. But I don't know any more than what the internet has to say about growing them. It's going to be a challenge when they get bigger as they will not survive the winters here without out assistance or bringing them inside. But I figger I have to keep them alive for 3 or more years before size becomes an issue.
