Just catching up
Posting a photo of my retired SFG back in GA.
I turned my SFG boxes into landscaping centerpieces in a flash!
Didn't have a spectacular SFG season, simply because I was preoccupied with upcoming move, and thought we'd move in July, so didn't plant any summer veggies.
We had awesome peas for the longest time, and lettuces that wouldn't quit until June, and even then I decided not to kill them, and they all turned into trees and grew pretty yellow flowers that were 3-4 feet tall. It was a lettuce enchanted forest.
We didn't have any luck with cukes, because I didn't take care of them, and broccolis didn't take.
But radishes were great and sweet, and I did get a few peppers from the pots. No luck on spinach either, but got some dill and parsley and a bit of basil.
I planted 13 varieties of tomatoes in pots (yes, you can call me crazy), thinking I'd move them to Bama when the time comes, but they didn't perform because they were neglected.
All-in-all, I am pleased, considering the circumstances, and will definitely try again. Getting my beds ready now.

Re: Just catching up
Weedless in Atlanta, what a nice job turning your SFG into decorative landscaping for your old house. Nice to know you were able to harvest from your peas and lettuces until June. Herbs are always a treat.
Glad you are progressing on setting up your SFG in AL. Looking forward to hearing about your new SFG.
