How is Connor?
I've been wondering how the Acara family has been doing. There have been no recent posts.
Acara, please give us an update! I'm sure the young one is thriving in his beautiful room, with his doting parents in attendance.

Sorry ...crazy week
Daddys' been busy cleaning up the East coat hurricane mess (for my employer).
Mama & Connor are doing well .... somewhere around 9lbs and 22"
Connors much bigger than 3-1/2 Blackberrys' now ..
"Dr. Evil" pose ..... one-million dollars!!!
Turtle eating Connor's brain (a.k.a. daddy misbehaving)
Kung-Fu-master-Connor, getting ready to Karate-chop some poor unsuspecting stuffed animal on the mobile;
Random cuteness;
Showing Daddy some luv ....

This must be a lesson they teach men in "How to Survive Marriage" class....cause I have yet to hear a man say their kid got their good looks from them. Even the jerks I know answer THIS question the same. LOL
But in all seriousness he is a beautiful child...and from me that means a lot, 'cause I don't say kids are cute when they are not and I am not one of those people who thinks all babies are cute...cause they aren't. My grandmother would slap me if she heard me say that...she hates it that I say not all babies are cute...

Re: How is Connor?
Ok, acara. I understand your position about Connor getting his good looks from his Mom, now! LOL - just kidding, but his Mom is tooo cute.
He is such a precious gift - and I know nobody's more aware of that fact than you and your wife. Enjoy each and ever stage of his life - they grow up all too fast. I love the stage around 6 to 9 months when they start being able to interact a bit more verbally with you and start sitting up and crawling around - but before they actually take off walking so that you have to chase them everywhere!

Re: How is Connor?
Oh, ho ho. There's no avoiding the whole teenage thing, though, acara! Many of us parents might wish that were possible, but so far as I know, now one's figured that one out! LOL. But definitely do enjoy this stage - and every one to come!!! You guys went through enough to get this little one, so enjoy! It is such a special time and I know everybody on the forum relishes every little tidbit about Connor that you provide!

Re: How is Connor?
On a serious note in response to the comment about teenagers, after 23.5 years as a Children's Social Worker, I think the best insurance is to begin teaching boundaries when a child begins to crawl.
When the child begins walking, start teaching SFG!
