Boysenberries
Hello,
I just starting squarefoot gardening and I would like to plant boysenberries. I've read the forum plants and herbs part and it says nothing about boysenberries. Are they more like raspberries and blackberries or more like blueberries where they need a more acidic soil? Please help. Thank you.

Re: Boysenberries
It's been a lot of years since I've had the delicious boysenberry, but if I remember correctly, it's a cross between raspberry, blackberry and Loganberry, which are all relatives of the raspberry.

No advice, but oh, how I LOVE boysenberries! My grandparents had them in Torrance, CA and they are one of those magical childhood memories for me!

Boysenberries
Ok, so since its a cross than it must grow just like raspberries which don't need acidic soil like blueberries. Thank you!
