Is it too late to plant strawberries
I just received my strawberry plants from bloomingblub.com (never again) so I was wondering if I can plant them now? I am in zone 10a or 22, and the strawberries are Eclair and is “short day” or “springbearing” variety has early season productivity of med-large, wedge shaped, extremely sweet berries, with medium firm flesh. The variety is resistant or very tolerant of garden soil diseases. With parent stock consisting of both springbearing and everbearing varieties.

I don't know about strawberries in California, but I planted some late lasst year, and they overwintered and are bearing beautifully this year.
