What can you spray on Sage???
Sage has fuzzy leaves, so I was concerned that they may not be able to take things like Neem or horticultural oil or garlic spray without affecting their flavor and usefulness.
I've got these little white bugs on my sage. They look like the mealy bugs pictured here: http://organicgardensite.com/bugs-harmful/mealy-bugs/
What can I use on my sage? I thought maybe they wouldn't do any real damage, but they are starting to now.

Re: What can you spray on Sage???
I decided to try searching again to see if I could find anything... I finally found a couple of things mentioning that insecticidal soap could be used on sage and is effective against mealybugs. One of them also mentioned horticultural oil. Anybody have any experience? I'll be putting horticultural oil on the sage this evening if not, since these things are sucking my sage dry.
I will also watch the water and perhaps move it to a sunnier spot, since I saw that in one of the documents I read. It gets morning to noon sun where it is, and it does wilt where it is if I don't water it every couple of days, so I don't think it's got wet feet. It's in MM in a pot.

Re: What can you spray on Sage???
I've sprayed neem oil and also spinosad on mine and they seem to be doing fine. I didn't want to spray them but they were being attacked by bugs. Be careful with the oils because they will fry your plants in 90+ degree weather.

Re: What can you spray on Sage???
Thank you for the warning, Petals! I haven't had the chance to spray it yet, because of the rain we've been having. It may be another day or two, and then I'll spray it. It's just having the life drained out of it.

Miss M keep us posted on the sage.
