What is this?
What is this on my zucchini? It doesn't exactly look like the pics I have seen of powdery mildew. I treated it yesterday with an organic fungicide, Garden Safe Fungicide 3 to be exact, but we had torrential rains last night. What is it and what do I do?

Re: What is this?
At first I was going to delete this thread and then I thought it might help another novice gardener like myself. I found this information on zucchini:
"Varieties may be classified by their bush habit, from an open habit where the leaves are more sprawling and widely spaced to a dense habit where leaves are crowded and harvesting is more difficult. The plant canopy on some varieties may change during the season due to plant nutrition, weather, irrigation and pollination. The leaves of the zucchini plant are large, dark green, and mature leaves are characterized by mottled silver-gray splotches and streaks on the leaf surface. These light markings are sometimes mistaken for a mildew problem."

It appears they are healthy, but I will diligently keep on the watch!!!

GREAT SAVE!!!! Way to share!!! Thanks, I love my zucchini, and even though my leaves are more green than silver, this was nice to know!
