60 degrees next week?
Wow! If that happens, guess where I will be spending some time that weekend? You betcha!! In the garden I will be. I need to finish the brick work for my patio and such around the garden. Those blocks have been sitting there all winter - bugging the heck out of me. Hopefully the stretch of warm temps will loosen up the soil.

Re: 60 degrees next week?
Nice. I haven't checked the weather forecast for here yet, but if it's going to be nice I think I'm going to be dumping out my containers and getting ready to kill some grass and level a tad bit of ground meself. It's funny though because this picture screams otherwise of nice weather on the way:

My hubby said when he woke up there was actually snow on the ground. When I woke up the sun was out *grumpy face* (I'd post the actual picture, but it wont work because of the format)

Man I really hope so. I forsee a whole weekend I can dedicate to my garden, as hubby is planning on spending the weekend working on his motorcycle.

Re: 60 degrees next week?
We had a dusting of snow in Baltimore and schools were delayed on the DelMarVa Penninsula. LOL. I can only dream of 60F weather for several days in a row.
I'm going to try and devote some time to buying cinder blocks and laying out what I have in mind. I'll do my best to take and post pics.

Re: 60 degrees next week?
I woke up to 1/2" of snow this morning! And black ice by my car as I was leaving work to go home...but the snow seems mostly gone except in shaded areas. Very cold. We are forecast for 54-55ish on Sunday and Monday, though! Can't wait to see everyone's garden plans!
Re: 60 degrees next week?
We are supposed to get up above freezing this weekend! For at least a week! Oh yea! some snow will melt! Of course there will be more but a break will be awesome! This weekend I start seeds....yup there WILL be a spring!

60 degrees next week
I live in Baltimore and where I am at, we have been spared major snow this year. From what I can tell, the forecasters are kind of backing off the 60 degrees but it still supposed to be in the mid to upper 50's. I'll take it. I can work with a jaket on. LOL! I have so much to do before mid-April that I just have to get started and take advantage of any time I can get out there.

Re: 60 degrees next week?
They are talking about mid-40's to low 50's here through Tuesday at least. I can live with that! I just need to get that be-dratted tree out of my backyard so I can get on with better things, like bed-building!
