Mid Winter
It's still mid winter here and I'm just dreaming of the garden with no serious yen to plant anything yet. But I do have a sweet tooth and a few seed catalogues so i made some of this to go with it all.

Muddy fingers!
Yum. That sounds good!
We have a warm spell at the moment -- it's 10C/50F right now, and raining, so I went out and pulled the little greenhouse off of my box so the MM can soak up some of the rain.
I have a few little lettuces that have survived the snow (not big enough to harvest, and a little pale after the utter lack of sunlight we've had of late) and a couple of CARROT SPROUTS! Maybe all the stuff I planted last fall will come up, after all? I can only hope -- I'd love to have the problem of waiting to sow the spring stuff until after the winter stuff is done! There are some tiny leaves in the cauliflower square that look suspicious, so I'll leave those in the hope that they're what I planted.
But gosh it felt good to get my hands good and dirty -- the weeds have come through the cold weather with no ill effects at all, so I pulled all of those...and none of anything that looked like it might be there on purpose.
