Keep Spreading the News...
Howdy Folks:
As hard as it may be to believe there are a few people in the world who have not heard about Square Foot Gardening. As an example we received an Organic Gardening Magazine 2011 garden planner.
On page 3 it states, "Instead of using herbicides, the organic gardener takes care of weeds the old-fashioned way-by mulching and hoeing, pulling, and digging them out."
It seems to me that most folks who have quit gardening quit because they did not like hoeing, pulling and digging weeds!
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

Looks like an article with lots of pictures of your family's garden is in order.
Should I call them or are you?

Betty:
If I recall correctly Rodale (Organic Gardening and other mags and books) was the first publisher of the original "Square Foot Gardening" book. I think the missed the boat by not renewing the publishing after the first or second printing. The first book sold over 1,000,000 books and the "ALL NEW Square Foot Gardening" book has sold well over the 2,000,000 mark. Gotta love it when a publisher says, 'your book won't sell much'.
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

I resemble that remark
Garden time vs garden weeding time is what caused me to pick up the book in the first place.
