Has anyone tried to root a cutting from their squash vine? Mine sometimes puts down secondary roots all by itself where the stem touches the ground. Wondering if anyone has had any luck with this? :?: bounce

If you root the vine into a pot ---it works---but conditions have to be very good.
After it takes root for a couple weeks then it can be cut loose from the main vine.

Cutting a rooted vine loosed from the main trunk -plant and moving it else where will
put it in Deep Shock and most likely will not recover.
