DRY SFG IN SCOTTSDALE AZ
From Scottsdale with Love
Lost my job and started to turn my weed beds into Raised Square Foot Gardens. I slowly built my self up to 250sqft from Jan to March.
Because of the limited water resource in Arizona I have dry farmed my garden. I would water my plants every other day with one full solo cup. Once the fruit set I would soak the square foot around the plant with water and then would wait to water until the plant looked like it was about to die. Even now in June and 110 degree weather I am watering a half gallon every 3 days.

Wow. I have heard about that and apparently it is the new gourmet thing. Very interesting to see it is action.
