Will my carrots grow?

Will my carrots grow?
Beginner's mistake, I suspect: I planted my carrots next to the broccoli. Now the broccoli plant is huge and it's covering the still small carrot plants. I suspect that the lack of light will prevent the carrots from growing, am I correct? If so, not sure what to do... Should I just pull them out and plant something that will benefit from the shade? Cross my fingers that the broccoli harvest comes soon, and that the carrots will recover once they get more light?

Re: Will my carrots grow?
I have that issue in one of my carrot squares. I decided that as long as they look healthy, they stay. When I can adjust leaves to provide more light, I do. Getting a better feel for which items grow fastest, where my light source is and how much shade the bigger plants create.
Re: Will my carrots grow?
My broccoli will be finished long before my carrots. The carrots will get all the light they need in a week or two - when I am finished with my broccoli.

plb, what is your weather like in your part of England? Here in New England, I expect what dmpower said - the broccoli will be harvested and gone and the carrots will ever so slowly keep growing!
