Thanks you guys! MSU hasn't been of help this time. And all the varieties i can see on SSE I can get at my "hook up" green house, it was the really special ones I'm out. Where to purchase rare tomato plants - Page 2 Icon_rolleyes

Chocolatepop, my thoughts and prayers are with you. The sun will shine again and the heirloom seeds you need will come -- or maybe even something better. Please keep us posted. We're all here for you.

All my best to you,

Chocolatepop, it's hard to know what to say in the face of such adversity. Know that we're rooting (no pun intended) for things to be looking up for you.

Thanks for checkin in on my guys!

It has been quite the week and honestly being in my early garden has been a huge stress reliever.

Thursday was filled with insurance calls, claims people and the restoration company. Saturday was filled with more restoration company, saturday claims, yesterday and today the internal "cleaning" ladies worked from 9am til 4pm and will be back tomorrow.

All of our clothing that was in that room is eith trash or at the professional disaster cleaning place. And I'm dying. It has been 90 for the past two days and all my summer clothing was in the fire and smoke damaged. Gotta love Michigan, 50-90 degrees in a week.

My daughter came home sunday. after the air cleaners had been running for 4 days. The restoration company and cleaning ladies are thinking that they are going to have to replace all the drywall in the bedroom, closet, and bathroom. a large area of flooring will have to be replace also. The people are coming back and checking out the tile and grout in the bathroom, because it is OMG horrible. And the vanity is trash because there was a lot of bare wood on the inside.

Our firearms and bows were also in there. Not even sure where to start with them. They were in the closet, at the top, and the cases were CAKED in soot, opened the case, wiped my had across the inside of the case... yup soot. The guns were the worse because the metal just attracted the stuff Sad Gotta call the local hunting goods store on that one.

I had to go in and do inventory, I am only like 1/6th done. And mostly plants Where to purchase rare tomato plants - Page 2 Icon_cry

Just mentally exhausted.

so sorry to read this. I would definitely talk to the insursance adjuster and claim as loss of profit.

You can also file loss of income on your taxes.

Thanks. I don't htink I can file for a loss of income since I'm not really a business. Basically I was going to sell my surplus (after giving away to family, friends, and food bank) to help with expenses. And if it went well this year then look at it mroe seriously.
