Re: CANADIAN REGION: what are you doing in August 2019
I have slowed down a bit, TD. Apples still falling and still thousands left on the tree.
Able to pick some ripe ones ones and have started making them into apple sauce as there are Tranparants, not my favourite apple and not good keepers. Everyone has them around here. I should have had more foresight and taken down this tree and planted several small ones of different varieties.
But I have thing about dreaming of doing things but not waking up and doing them. But I did have to continue working when my DH died so that I could keep the house.
Still so many things that need doing and all of a sudden I notice that the daylight hours are getting fewer and still lots to be done.

Still toiling away on my apple tree. I am now gett two buckets a day and they are getting large and juicy. I have canned several jars, given away apples and also processed apples and tomorrow I will start on dehydrating them as it is quicker and takes up little space and last almost forever.
