I Thought this video was insightful. The main theme was that there are certain pollinators that work better for pollinating some plants such as tomatoes. According to this video, bumble bees are great pollinators of tomatoes and honey bees are not. So I guess my tomatoes planted next to the honey bee hives are not pollinated by those honey bees. The tomatoes drop their pollen when the bumble bees buzz them (or the wind blows, or I shake the stem, or I buzz them with the tooth electric tooth brush).
