Hello from Kelowna BC
Hi there I am new to this forum. I am from Kelowna BC Canada. I took a few year break from gardening due to new babies. This year I have started up again and decided to try with Sqaure foot Gardening. So far I am very happy with the way everything is coming in. I am looking forward to having a group to ask questions too!! I have so much to learn!!

A warm welcome from Ottawa, ON. I'm glad you have joined this great forum where there is a ton of good information and lovely people willing to provide advice. When you get a chance please post photos of your garden. My wife and I have friends in Salmon Arm, BC which I think is not all that far from Kelowna. Our Canada Region rep lives in Castlegar, BC.

from your Canadian Regional Host, Kelejan.
Ask as many questions as you want as we all like to impress others with the knowledge we have gained. Don't hold back, we were all newbies once and we never forget it.
How is the flooding there? I hope you have not been washed away. I am in Castlegar in the West Kootenay and we have been very lucky.
Of course it is still very damp and the grass and the weeds have grown like crazy.
Keep this thread as your own and perhaps get the heading changed to your own name, then you can look back on it and see the progress you will have made.
Meanwhile there is Canadian thread named "CANADIAN REGION: What are you doing in JUNE 2017" Hope to see you there.

Thank you for the warm welcome. We live up in the hills so we have not yet been washed away. I will post some pictures once I figure out how to post. Reading through some of the forums I am really excited for all the awesome information!!!

IMO, this forum is one of the best I have ever been associated with. You can see that from the number posts I have made, and I have always considered myself a shy and reserved person. I feel I have "blossomed" here. Pun intended.

Nice to hear you are pleased with what's happening so far in your SFG. Please post photos when you figure it out.
