question about Garlic and winter - Page 2 Empty Bump!

Post  Scorpio Rising 8/29/2017, 10:07 pm

OK, so I have probably 9 nice tight clustered hardneck variety (German from Pinetree) which have been on my kitchen table.  Which cloves should Iplant this Fall?  The nice tight closed ones?  The kinds falling open ones?  I am thinking even though they are a bit smaller, I should plant the tighter packed cloves..

What say you?  study

Can't say much about hard neck garlic I just planted some grocery store bought soft neck as they won't ship my garlic order till the middle of next month. Well any way I used the largest sets to plant and will use the smaller ones in cooking.

Once you separate all the cloves you won't even know which were tight and which weren't. Plant the largest cloves. Very Happy
