Another new cedar SFG bed and some free pallets.
Last year Wal-mart had some cedar beds for $45.00 We found them at he end of the season for $9.00 and bought five. Put this double decker together on Sunday.
Thinking about making the 12 ft FREE skid in the background into an onion bed.
Picked up some more free pallets too.
And finally, I'm running out of room in this section of my yard and ready to start in my circle drive with more beds.

Lookin' good, MrB. I guess I'm not the only one with a rescue garden. Imagine how much good, useful stuff would now be in a landfill somewhere, if it weren't for resourceful garden folk.

Thanks Suz. I been on the internet looking at "pallet planters and pallet furniture" and getting some great ideas. Going to be in the 60's and lower 70's here the rest of the week and I WILL be in my garden the rest of the week planting onions and amending my MM.countrynaturals wrote:Lookin' good, MrB. Are you getting ready yet?

Great job, Mr. B! Love the double decker. How high are the sides of the free skid?

Terrible weather coming tonight for the next week, so I'm planting seeds inside today in peat pots -- daikon radishes, cilantro, & oregano.

The sides of the free skid are 2x4's and I think a 2x4 is actually 2x3 and 5/8.CapeCoddess wrote:Great job, Mr. B! Love the double decker. How high are the sides of the free skid?
