Good concept, but I think if it got much bigger than the one shown, you might not be able to get close enough to the bed to tend to the plants....Too much reaching! But for one plant, perhaps!

Interesting. I'm thinking it would fry a plant in hot weather, though. Here I buy a bail of straw to cut up as cooling mulch and others try to heat up the soil.
