Virtual Flyovers - General
Upcoming flyovers will focus on the following:
1. For AtlantaMarie and yolos - flight in the Atlanta GA area touching on Buford and Brooks GA
2. for Marc Iverson - flight in SW Oregon starting from Eugene and heading south then over to the coast
3. For Cherbear - flight in the area of Eskasoni, Nova Scotia which is located on Bras d'Or Lakes in Cape Breton ... most likely in a float plane
If any of the above people would like to change the proposed flight or if anyone else would like a virtual flight please let me know.

No, I am interested but have been trying to find out the name of the small field in Brooks. There is Falcon Field to the West of me in Peachtree City and a small (maybe dirt) field to the east of me in Brooks.
And Windmere is north of me just barely on the north end of Fayetteville - up state road 85. don't have the faintest idea where Atlanta Marie is.

Re: Virtual Flyovers - General
The three flights mentioned at the start of this thread are complete. I am going to take a take a break from gardening and flying but will be back.

Re: Virtual Flyovers - General
And we have a nice long winter for more flights! Thank you for doing this for folks. I noticed you have to buy extra soft ware for certain flights. Please don't shell out money just for us.

Re: Virtual Flyovers - General
I just looked at it. Some nice detail in some of those shots. I can't recognize things mountain by mountain, so I just got a general feel for the geography.

Re: Virtual Flyovers - General
I think getting the general feel of someone's gardening region is what the flyovers are best for, for this group. Mountains, rivers, flat lands, oceans, lakes, forest, desert, sun sets and sun rises. TD, thank you so much.

You are welcome sanderson. I'm looking forward to doing more flyovers during the winter break from gardening. I can change the date and time so I could also fly over the same region in all four seasons for contrast. You may have noticed that the flyovers in SW Oregon and BC had more detailed scenery than other locations. That is because I previoualy purchased add-on scenery for those locations from this source https://www.fullterrain.com/ .
Sanderson ... would it be possible to move these few posts concerning flyovers to the "Virtual Flyovers - General" thread? Thanks.

Re: Virtual Flyovers - General
I will be doing some more Virtual Flyovers starting with sanderson's recent road trip. I'm doing some upgrades to my flight simulator computer and software at the present time. This is a a photo taken a few years ago (click on the image for a bigger view). The monitors are both 24 inch 1080p. There are radio, autopilot and switch panels as well as the yoke and to its right the throttle quadrant. There also are rudder pedals on the floor.
