May 1st updates on gardens?
Since I'm a newbie here, I will repost my garden pics taken yesterday, May 1st.
Today I planted Mesclun, Bibb lettuce, Romaine lettuce, Buttercrunch lettuce (4 each), spinach (4), radishes one of the little white half barrels (carrots will go in the other one). In the newest boxes I put cucumbers (2 varieties one for pickles one burpless for general eating) and peas (sugarsnap).

This is my garden plan for the year. I will be staggering my plantings as last year I planted FAR too much lettuce and it went to waste. I am much more careful this year. I just hope we don't have problems with bunnies and deer or else I will need to invest in a large fence...

Nice garden
Leighfluver,
Very nice garden!
I was wondering why you chose to put the Corn on the South side??? Since it is so tall, won't you be blocking the Sun on the shorter plants?
Thanks
Don
