Spring update
front bed: pineapple, stevia, fennel, sweet mint, chocolate mint, zucchini (young seedlings in far right row with sporadic marigolds).
front to back: carrots, pole beans, bok choy, beets, onions, cukes (very young seelings), romaine, collard greens, swiss chard, bush beans
Everglade tomatoes
And "outside of the box"... PAPAYAS! It's so amazing that this was planted as a seed only 13 or 14 months ago!

Re: Spring update
Looks terrific! I may have to try growing a papaya. I'm 7a/8b, but...
They are so helpful for people with acid reflux issues.
I wish I had room for that much chocolate mint!

Well done! It seems like just yesterday that you were building those beds. I can't believe that papaya! That's just amazing...like magic. How's the one that got chlorinated doing?

Re: Spring update
Thanks for asking. She's doing well, and starting to form little flower buds. But I still have her in a pot.CapeCoddess wrote:Well done!
