So far this is working great for me.
Not wanting to have another piece of stuff for my shed I decided to try this.
I'm sure it will only be able to do the soft stuff.

Material to be shredded

And here I thought ice scrapers were made of plastic! I was wondering how to sharpen them....

Is it possibly a square snow shovel?

For sharpening perhaps use a 2nd cut hand file , grindstone or angle grinder with care .

A very old scraper, I used it for digging post holes.
Not wanting to purchase a post hole digger for the few holes I needed in the garden I just used this.
Sledged it down (squarely) to where I needed.
Handle's fairly well splintered from hammering, works out great for this project.
