hello from Dallas, TX
Greetings...I live in North Dallas and I started my first two 4x4 beds last October. Enjoyed having lettuce, parsley, cilantro, green onions ON DEMAND. This is a no brainer and I will now garden for life. I also grew cabbages and broccoli but they were attacked by cucumber beetles. Next time I'll be ready with the Neem!
I plan to add 3 more beds for a total of 5 this year. My goal is to feed my family of 5 but as others have said...focus on the veggies we currently eat. Very tempting to try so many random and interesting varieties!

Chocolatemint....Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you dipped your toe in the waters and found it to your liking.
Its a good idea to stick with what you know at first so you don't have too many disappointments. Experiment as you gain knowledge. You'll enjoy it.

Welcome to the forum!! A lot of people limit their experiments to 1 or two a year! Quiltbea is right on, limit! Have fun and post pictures!!
