Hello From Smyrna, GA
Hello All,
Just started reading the SFG book and was so impressed, I had to join the forum. Haven't done a bit of gardening. But I like to cook, and was interested making an herb garden to grow my own herbs. While looking for a book on herb garderns, I ran across the SFG book. Cant wait to get started.

Welcome. I bet you will have great success with the square foot method and herbs. I did nearly a full box of various herbs and lettuce my first year and had far more than I could use. I gave away big bunches of Thai basil, dill, rosemary, and oregano. They certainly can flourish in a square foot garden and are so easy to keep weeded or otherwise maintained. Best of luck and be sure to post up some pictures of what you put together for your first box.
