welcome Think of your hanging veggies as elevated container gardens!

We do encourage all who come to check out the All New Square Foot Gardening book - it is the foundation of the gardening method used here and is the basis for the method. If you have not read the book, see if you can find a copy - to buy or to borrow from a library. The soilless mix used in this method definitely works in containers - whether on the ground or in the air!

I have a hanging tomato and all my potted flowers in Mels Mix the soiless mixture advocated by the Squarefoot Gardening method. Works great in raised beds, beds up on legs (tabletops) and pots.

So welcome and show us what you have. We love pictures. But be careful, The ALL NEW SQUAREFOOT GARDENING method is addictive and soon you have a yard (or patio or balcony) full.
