That is dedication! Checking out the forums BEFORE coffee!

Well.... At least during, lol! Gotta have something amusing to start my day. I usually find it here. :-)
Re: who has chickens
Our hens are old ladies, and quit laying last fall. Today, when I went over to let them out, I found these:

I had no idea they'd started laying again, so we haven't been looking for eggs. Some of them could be almost 2 weeks old. We've had a couple of days in the low 70s, but most of our weather has been 60s/40s. In the past, I would have thrown them all out and started over, but now, eggs are scarce. In fact, we never expected to get any more at all. So, do you think they're still good? How can I tell? (Gonna Google this right now.)
Answer:

ALL GOOD!

I'm on my way back to kitchen to test my eggs right now.The Happy Chicken Coop wrote:
So how do you test an egg for freshness? It’s really simple and can be done easily and quickly.
You will need a bowl filled with enough water to cover an upright egg.
Then, place your egg gently into the water and if it stays on the bottom it’s fresh.
If it rises to the top and floats- it’s old.

ALL GOOD!
