Garden Update :)
What's planted: Cherry tomatoes, cucumber, hot pepper mix, jalapenos, spinach, two mangos, and an avocado.
Cherry tomatoes and hot peppers are thriving!!! The peppers are getting big leaves. Tomatoes are getting bigger three edge type leaves. Spinach keeps getting to a certain height then dying off so I think we're going to just try again when it's a little cooler.
The first mango finally sprouted at the top and is peeking through the soil. I discovered that this morning after accidently pouring water on top. Now I know to be careful. the 2nd is I think a couple weeks shy so it's still getting there. Our avocado seems to be doing good. Tap root is there. The top part is slow growing though.
The trees are definitely testing my patience.
as for what'll get planted next: Pumpkins. That's for certain. Not sure on anything else. Maybe carrots and watermelon?

Re: Garden Update :)
Good news! I want an avocado tree. On my list. How tender are mango trees? Can they take some frost?
Re: Garden Update :)
So far one mango has two sproutlings in it's pot and they're doing great! Albeit, one leaf looks like it's been nibbled on but it's possible it got burned from the sun from water....But as I find out, I can let everyone know.
And yes! The avocado is doing great! I think in a few more days or weeks it should be ready to grow in it's own container also.
Edit:
oh! We've got pumpkins growing too! Been in the ground for 5-6 days and already have sproutlings coming from the ground.
Quick little suckers... o.o
