Howdy ! From Arkansas 7b
Howdy Y'all,
from a gardening fanatic that loves any and all types of plants and gardening.
Here in my home of Arkansas (7b) I plant just about anything that I can get my hands on, especially heirloom and non-gmo.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone here.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum! Do you do square foot gardening? This is a fun place to learn and show off you garden (we love seeing pics)!

Hi, cheyannarach,
Haha, I'm to the point that on my 2 1/2 acres every square foot is being planted with something. Between the fruit and nut trees, to all of the perennial fruits and veggies (and annual ones to), I'd love to share what I have learned and tried and I am entirely open to learning something new.
Thanks for the shout out cheyannarach
(and I love showing pics)

The folks on the forum use the ALL NEW SQUAREFOOT GARDENING as the how to manual. If you have not seen it, check it out at your local library or leaf through it at Lowes or Home Depot. You may find something you like. We all love the ease of gardening that it embraces.

Haha, it sounds like you live in my yard of the future. I just planted my first fruit tree we'll see how that goes, also 3 blueberry bushes. If those don't work I guess I will have to stick with raspberries and strawberries. It's a work in progress! I'll be waiting for pictures

yes, chayannarach
perennial fruits are alot of fun and I wish you good luck with the blueberrys. I've been working on my plants for 3 years now.
My avatar is actually a pic of my blackberrys as of just this morning. As soon as I figure out how to put up pics, I'll try to get some up.

A neighborly welcome!
At least, our states are neighbors and we share the same zone so you may as well be next door. Folks on here are sooooo helpful and nice and we all really do love pictures. This is my first year with a SFG and I'm hoping to have a long fruitful future! Enjoy the forum and your garden!
