Not a wax bean?? Also...are my summer squash ready?
I planted what I thought were golden wax beans (according to the package) but they don't appear to be very "golden." This is my first year gardening so I don't know much about the plant. Are these just regular beans?

Also, just wondering if my yellow crooknecks are ready to harvest?

I'm not really sure about the beans. I seem to remember my golden wax beans starting out golden and staying that way, but I could be mistaken. As for the squash, they look pretty small right now. You could certainly harvest them now, however they can grow pretty big (I've heard up to three feet long), but they're best when about 6 or so inches.

Yup, that's a green bean. What color were the beanseed you planted? do you remember? Green beans are good! But I know they are not the lovely yellow.
If that was my squash I would wait another day or two to allow it to get a bit bigger, but you can certainly harvest it now if you want to.

I just planted the last of them the other day, I believe the seed was white with black spots?

Hmm, well it has been known to happen that seeds can be mislabeled. What was the variety again?

It was a "Golden Wax Bush Bean". I'm slightly bummed because they sounded good, but we love green beans so it's not a huge deal.

Yellow beans start out green when young, then mature to yellow in my experience. This is an old post from last year, did your beans stay green?
