What is the best peppermint for tea?
My research to date would suggest that Black Peppermint has the greatest menthol content and therefore the greatest peppermint hit in a tea form.
For a milder taste I prefer Morrocan mint.
I'd be interested to hear your favourites please?

I am still trying to find a real peppermint flavored plant. Seems like everything is more of a spearmint flavor. I'll keep looking.

Ginger mint. I put it in lemonade and coconut currys. I really should try drying some for winter teas. Apple mint is a good one too. I am not so fond of either peppermint or spearmint.
