I know the cascade looks good. But if you separate those boxes you'd have 84 squares with the same boxes. How can you reach 4 feet in from the edges to service the center square?

Sorry. Not trying to be negative. And certainly don't want you to offend your husband after he surprised you with the cascade design.

Well Cincinnati, I got the design off of Mel's website where they sell them, I can reach the center but will just have some flowers that don't need a lot of hands on work. This one was built specifically for the looks not the space because I already have 2 3x3 beds, a 4x6 bed, and a oddly shaped bed that has 46 squares, so I have plenty of room!

My new garden! Empty Almost...

Post  cheyannarach 4/9/2012, 7:24 pm

Well I ran short on vermiculite and only had about 1 1/2 sides on the bottom row until it was full. So close, and Rooster, I can wait to plant it!

cheyannarach,

I remember seeing similar designs. Hope I didn't offend you. Since you have enough beds already, this will be a wonderful design added to your landscape. I bet it will look great full of plants. Post a photo when you have it filled in.
