New to SFG in New Jersy

Hi my name is Toni. I live in Stewartsville NJ and this is my first year establishing a SFG. We start building it tomorrow. I'm so excited. I'm not new to gardening but new to this technique. I hope everyone has a great growing season.

Glad to have you here. What are you planning on planting? Do you know your last frost date? Knowing the date can help when it comes to planting at the right time for your area.

Thanks Ward. The frost dates NJ DoAg lists are 4/27 or 5/5 depending on the 2 towns New to SFG in New Jersy Icon_flower

listed. I live right between the 2 towns. Should I split the difference or wait for the later date?

Welcome from the south side of jersey (exit 5!)

I started last spring and am totally hooked, I can't wait to get started again this year. I'm just hoping I have a good Jersey tomato harvest this year, I got seeds directly from Rutgers University.
