We have not had much rain the last few years here in Houston. Today just had a nice huge strom that dropped lots of rain. Now with such heavy down pours will that be a problem with the rasied beds. They should drain pretty quick right? I just do not want a bed of veggies to go bad because it got too much rain Sad

Mel's Mix drains so well, there should not be a problem.

Now if you were using amended garden soil heavy rain and SFG garden any problems to lookout for 601593

Tropical Storm Lee(labor day weekend, 2011) brought ~10 inches of rain to my garden in 2 days. Not a problem at all.

Glad you got some much needed rain. My brother is in Plano, and two sisters, one in Bastrop, the other in Austin. I know they have said how horrible it's been this year. Droughts are horrible!
