Hi! I actually started out with a 4 x 4 SFG last year, but didn't get a chance to put one in since I moved and bought a house this year. So for this year I am taking a small spot in my parents' garden....I hate all the weeds!!! I have been working at Menards since March in the garden center watering the plants during the morning stock shift until 9 a.m. 6 days a week. I just bought the SFG book at work last week and have been busy reading it. I can't wait to get back into it next year. I was amazed last year how many plants I could do in that 4 x 4 box. I bought one of the vinyl box kits at Menards last summer and I am planning on doing 2 of those 4 x 4 boxes next year. It is great to find the forums and get all kinds of ideas for stuff!

There's nothing nicer than seeing crops grow from little seeds or seedlings you've planted yourself and taken care of while they gained growth.
The harvest is delightful.
Good luck and yes, get more raised beds.

You definitely found the right place to compliment the book. Welcome aboard!!

We love posting pictures of our progress, and love to answer questions....as well as ask our own questions, too. Jump in and get active!

I think you have a unique outlet to promote SFG to some possibly interested people. I know I couldn't help but push them in that direction if they were asking me questions.

Hope to see you around soon.
