Do you remember this?
This was the big carrot I grew last year, and we had a contest to see who could guess how long the carrot would be and boffer won, so I sent him a package of the giant carrot seeds and we are going to have a contest this year to see who can grow the biggest carrot, we both have special ideas of how we can grow the biggest carrot, it should be interesting to see how we grow them and who grows the biggest! I can't wait to get started!
Re: Do you remember this?
They're called 2x4 Giants. That's all I know. But I've got a unique container to grow them in, and some quality homegrown Mel's Mix, and if I make...oops, nuf said!
Josh turns 16 next week. With a little luck, he'll be so busy driving his girlfriend around in his car, that he won't have much time to be thinking about gardening!

Re: Do you remember this?
Boffer must be reminiscing of driving his sweetie around when he was 16, but I bet you didn't need a license for a horse an buggy, JUST KIDDING!!!
Re: Do you remember this?
That is hilarious!!! I'm sure boffer didn't have a horse and buggy. A Model T maybe, but not a horse and buggy.
Awww... you know we love ya boff!

Re: Do you remember this?
My dad loves telling us about his first car, it was big and black, not sure what make and model, but just for fun, he hung curtains in the back windows, and placed coffin handles on the doors.
Wondering
Wonder how many gallons to the mile he gets? (Of fertilizer.)

Boffer I just have to ask, was that your first welding project?
Sorry, I just have to laugh.... because I recall an old family story where my mother told my sister something happened a long time ago and my sister came back with, "Was that when you were traveling west with the covered wagons?"

Re: Do you remember this?
boffer until I'm road legal I drive her around in this. The neighbor has lots of woods near by and he has trails in the woods and he said I could drive around in the woods on the trails.
Re: Do you remember this?
Cool! I hope you're not like my son. He was happy to drive our tractor and even do a little work. But as soon as he was street legal, the tractor became kid's stuff and he didn't get in much tractor time anymore.
