Bug eggs? Good or bad??
I squashed 'em (no pun intended.) After the advice I got here as well as looking it up online, I decided they could've been the eggs of one of two bad bugs [Colorado potato or Spotted cucumber], neither seemed like anything I wanted anywhere near my veggies!
I didn't even bother snapping pics or asking, when I later found different eggs on other plants: one set was similar, but had a metallic gold-ish color as I recall (if it was a car, they'd call it Champagne, or Desert something-or-other. I just called it potential trouble, and got rid of it.)
The other was just three or four little orbs, larger than the other 2. At the time, I thought the eggs (?) looked rather grape-like, but more dull grey. I just reacted--SMUSH!--then thought I maybe should've documented them. Oh well. If I ever see 'em again, then I guess I will.

Re: Bug eggs? Good or bad??
I'm afraid I don't worry about whether they are good eggs or bad eggs when I find them. I see them, they are gone! (Except I find there are so many leaves I have a really hard time trying to inspect them all....)
insect eggs that are keepers
generally, if you see lots of them it's probably a pest HOWEVER
if you see little green eggs on stalks, leave them alone! probably lacewings, your friends.
also, a small cluster of yellow oval eggs may well be lady beetles, also your friends. The carnivores leave "footprints" a chemical signature that is repellent to one another, so it is unlikely that you will find many.
