This is a done deal so I will have to live with it, but in the spirit of killing two birds with one stone when I went to feed my babies, I also added BT to the spray and then followed it all with Neem oil.

I used a hand held pressure sprayer and put in the Bt, fish emulsion and epsom salts along with a little miracle grow. I could not find concentrated Neem so used a spray bottle I got at the store. I wouldn't think it would matter if they were mixed, but not sure.

I turned the water off for tonight as it was a foliar feed and we shall see. Let me know if you have any thoughts on it.

I dont know how the mixing will work, but I can picture this scientist mixing all this stuff up !!! I totally understand about making things simpler, thats 5 jobs you combined into one!!! Im so overwhelmed with what has to be done I would have done the same!

I'm not sure how all the mixing together will work or exactly how you're delivering everything. But keep in mind, sometimes timing is everything. Are you applying all this weekly, super dilute daily, once monthly?

I would suggest that you do something at least weekly. I have mixed some of the different liquid fertilizers together, but I haven't mixed any insecticides together. I have followed a foliar feed with Bt since the bugs only need to get a smidge of Bt for it to work.

Did you calculate all the different application rates to get them all just right or just do a bit of this and bit of that? I'm not sure how critical all that would be anyway, but just some of the thoughts running around my mind. Keep in mind that when you mix together different solutions you dilute each product into the entire volume - for instance if you mix a solution that is say . . . 50% of chemical X (just as an example) into a solution that is 60% of chemical Y, and you use 1 gallon of each you get a solution that is 2 gallons of 25% chemical X and 30% of chemical Y. You don't end up with 50% and 60% anymore. Does that make sense? Then when you start to apply it at, say . . .(randomly selected common application rate of a concentrate) 6 oz per gallon, your application rate is changed. You would need 12oz per gallon to get the same application rates as originally intended.

OK, I'm really making this too complicated. Tell us a little more about how you're applying.

I used per directions for each thing - so if it said 2T per gallon, that is what I used. I mixed Bt, fish emulsion, epsom salts, and miracle grow each added per directions on their own boxes/bottles. Then I followed with a spray of Neem oil.

I feed with the three fertilizers twice a month and have never used Bt or Neem before.

Ah, so you are mixing each into a gallon of water, then spraying? I was concerned that you were using a hose end sprayer, where the volume of the concentrate in the sprayer will more significantly change the final concentration of each. It was just the scientist in me being anal about things that made me concerned.

I don't see any reason why your way wouldn't work just fine as long as there isn't any weird chemical interaction happening. I can't think of anything obvious right off, but I'm not really a chemist, just have loads of chemistry credits for my degree, so it spontaneously pops out of me occasionally.
