Jalapenos with black skin spots
This is the second jalapeno I've harvested from this plant. The first one was perfectly green like I'm used to seeing. This second one though, is not fully green, but also has black spots on the skin. It doesn't look diseased or anything, just discolored. It almost seems as if it got sunburnt, as it has been sooo hot here lately, and the black spots are where the sun was hitting it in the afternoon.
Anyone experience this? Is this normal and can I still eat it, or should I discard it?
