I just witnessed a good test of just how strong the Foundation's trellis netting is!
Peering out my window, I noticed a robin hopping around one of my beds, pulling and tugging with all her might at some bottom loose ends of netting. She tried and tried to get some to use for nesting material, knowing a good thing when she saw one.
After several minutes, she took a rest. Then she gave it one last effort, hopped out the box to the lawn, and devoured a large worm.
