Hello from Southwest Georgia:
I'm Darlene Pino from down here in Paula Deen Country. I'm presently starting my very first Square Foot Garden. I'm hoping this will end my "Brown Thumb Saga" that has plagued me since moving away from Florida where anything grows! Hello, Y'all, from Albany, Georgia 3085260134

I've read Mel's new book, and the new Answer book and the online book from Weatherly Earth. Reading everything I can, and waiting for delivery of my box and Mel's dirt this week. I have everything else I need waiting to get started. Looking forward to this new adventure. I'm sure I will have a question or two as I go along.

the best I can tell, there are no SFG teachers in SW Georgia.

...and the reason I didn't make everything from scratch is because I have a broken foot. Next year I ought to be good to go!

$glad you\'re here$ to the SFG Forum! You will have a green thumb doing this type of gardening. I see you did all your reading and I know you will become addicted to this type of gardening as we all have. If you have any questions everyone on the website is willing to assist.

Welcome Darlene! You will find a ton of help here with regard to virtually all garden issues. The folks here are very helpful. There are many who are extremely experienced. There are many like me who are doing a SFG for the first time. I have made several "missteps," but I have learned from my experiences. I think you will enjoy the time you spend here.
