Mason Jar Salads
Saw this on Facebook and clicked back to a Pinterest posting. Seems like a way to increase use of our garden produce.

Re: Mason Jar Salads
I am totally going to try this... what a great idea for a busy family! We usually do our groceries once a week, so putting stuff in jars before putting it in the fridge is great!
could even do smaller jars for lunch salads at work!!
Thank you for sharing.

Re: Mason Jar Salads
if you use a vacuum sealer for the jars, your goods will stay fresh for almost two weeks. this is how i do it:

Re: Mason Jar Salads
I have tried this system and it is great.....dressing....layers of veggies as worked on or sorted.....topped with lettuce.... I eat more veggies this way....
Will have to dig out my vacuum system to see if it will work for me.......Ruth
